Guitar Trio «Los Ungaros»
"The guitar trio "Los Ungaros", composed of two Hungarians and a Peruvian (the name of the group is a playful allusion to this internationality), is a valuable addition to the classical guitar scene: its members – Lajos Horváth, Gonzalo Manrique and László Szabó – are not only virtuoso and powerful players, but also artists of great sensitivity, whose musical interaction is delicate and always fine-tuned. Their interpretations exhibit full command of styles and their repertoire – which encompasses their own compositions, original works by other composers and transcriptions of piano and orchestra pieces –
is almost unlimited, and even more so with the addition of the contrabass guitar.
We can expect excellent, captivating concerts from these musicians."
