Keep going this way, enjoy every bit of your musical journey and the most complicated things will also seem just easy and fun. Music theory and musical acoustics will become useful fundaments that you will be inspired about. However, there is no definite must of learning theory at any level. Follow your dreams, you will feel the need of explanations and notation systems if the time has come.
